Friday Thoughts (posted Saturday AM, bad habit): Work Hard, Then Step Away...

Work keeps me busy. Executive search is all about solving problems, connecting people, and keeping things moving. But I’m learning that stepping away is just as important as getting things done.

So this weekend and more to come, I’m reminding myself to:

🐶 Walk the dog more – because they don’t care about work, just adventures.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Spend time with family – because they deserve more attention than my inbox.

📵 Put the phone down – because the world won’t end if I don’t check email for a while.

I won’t pretend it’s easy—I’m still figuring out how to actually switch off. But I know I’ll do better work next week if I take a real break this weekend.
